Me and Archie (the cute Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) are looking for a friendly, social, dog loving type to come and join our place near Streatham Common
We have a lovely large double room in my house for rent close to Streatham Common. The room is furnished with a kingsize ottoman bed plus storage and comes with a new Emma matress.
The rest of the house is pretty ace. It has a great open plan living / dining room with a big 10 seater table perfect for chilling out with friends over food, drinks and the inevitable hours of monopoly / Uno / your board game of choice! I have a sunny newly refurbed kitchen which has everything you need including a brilliant breakfast bar for prep as well as a casual glass of wine as you cook.
One of the best things about the place is the large garden which gets the sun all day and has a studio / office / fitness room. Currently I use it as an office and storage and has plenty of room for another desk or gym equipment.
Another brilliant thing about the place is the off road parking for 2 cars AND the electric charging point.
You also get your own separate office space upstairs when you want to work from home.
Transport is very good here as Streatham Common station is less than 10 mins walk and gets you to Victoria and London Bridge in just over 20 mins. Streatham station is about 20 mins walk away and has great links into Blackfriars, City Thameslink etc in just over 20 mins.
The lovely Streatham Common itself is a fairly short walk, perfect for Archie, and Tooting Common again not far in the opposite direction. There are also 3 excellent pubs nearby and the delights of Streatham high road are quick to reach. Basically it's in a good location whilst being on a quiet street.
The price includes all bills (inc. charging a car) and comes with very fast Virgin broadband, Amazon, Netflix etc
Also flexible on the move in date as is from mid April.
A bit about me then, I'm 38 and work in consulting with a mix of working time spent at home, the office in town or at a client site. Some weeks I might be here all the time others not.
Like most if us I like to keep the place tidy enough but it is lived in. When not working I like to do a mix of the usual - binge watching tv shows, hanging out with friends, watching pretty much any sport, cooking, fitness classes etc. I also love a quiz and of course walking Archie. Obviously with a resident dog other dogs are welcome to give Archie a buddy to play with.
We (me and Archie) are easy going and basically would love to have somebody join us who wants to live somewhere that is more than just a room. Somebody that's happy to socialise and join Archie and me from time to time on walks. If that sounds like you and you'd love to hear more get in touch.
