Job Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our client's fantastic team and contribute to the design and analysis of various structures. The ideal candidate will be a chartered or near chartered membership of IstructE, with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a knack for innovative problem-solving.
Day-to-day of the role:
Design and analyse structures using engineering software and calculations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes.
Collaborate with stakeholders and other professionals throughout the design and construction process.
Perform structural analysis and calculations using software such as Staad Pro.
Develop cost-effective, safe, and sustainable design solutions to meet project challenges.
Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications.
Mentor Graduate Engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Chartered or Near Chartered Status with IstructE (Preferred).
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and structural analysis software.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
