You will be responsible for developing and delivering an evolving strategy for all stock related decisions, working with the Buying/ Merchandising and Senior Teams. You will be responsible for running key reports, planning and preparing budgets and managing stock at a granular level.

My client is a is a successful ecommerce retailer in North Yorkshire. They are known for their selection of brands they sell, such as Hugo Boss, Lacoste, New Balance & Barbour. Due to strong trade/ changes in the Branded market they are seeking another Merchandiser to join the team.
Description
Review and manage stock on a rolling basis and flag or action any concerns immediately and present in weekly trade meetings
Ensure all daily & weekly reporting is run and kept up to date
Maintenance & management of stock data for planning, reviewing & managing sales, intake, carry over & markdown.
Managing markdown uploads, ensuring the sale runs smoothly and stock is effectively liquidated whilst maintaining margin.
Schedule and manage department current and end of season analysis; colour, price point & attributes.
Create lessons learnt and building blocks for season ahead.
Re-forecasting and OTB Management
Monthly review of top line numbers with buying and merchandising team which the team will work to, re-forecasting categories, managing any risk, and potentializing over-performing areas of the business.
Work closely with the wider Ecom team to ensure all key messages are relayed in the correct way online. Discussing weekly sales by category and trading best and worst sellers.
Ensure all stock have the correct attributes attached to them. Work with IT and Product Management to correct any errors and amend if needed.Profile
