A market leading organisation based in Livingston, West Lothian are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join a team developing electronics with a particular focus on ATEX/ IEC-Ex certified product development. Their products are used in markets ranging from Smart Metering, Oil & Gas, to Life Sciences and Medical.

The Senior Electronics Design Engineer will be involved with working on a broad range of technical projects where initial ideas are developed into real products in short timescales.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

Schematic capture, PCB design, analogue and digital system design
Microcontroller system design
Investigate, develop and utilise new technologies, components and techniques, processes and tools
Use analogue and digital electronics skills to design, build and test complex electronics modules

Key skills/experience required for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer job:

Proven experience developing electronic systems
Analogue and digital system design experience
Power supply design, high-speed design and wireless/RF experience would be an advantage
Experience of highly regulated development processes, e.g. medical devices, ATEX etc would be beneficial
