1967 Ford Mustang Coupe 289 A Code V8 with Hurst -Shift 4-Speed Manual Gearbox. Presented in Factory Candy Apple Red with Black Bucket seats and interior, GT Bonnet and Driving Lamps, Centre Console, Power Steering and American Racing Torq Thrust alloy wheels with BFGoodrich radial tyres.

Imported into the UK in 2016 after long-term ownership in the US and comes complete with a large History File documenting its life in the States. The subject of a full bare-metal repaint in its original Factory colour of Candy Apple shortly after its arrival. Still presenting marvelously well in what has to be one of the best paint choices you can have in a Mustang. In addition, the chrome work was either replaced or refurbished at the same time.

All the factory Mustang GT 289’s of the period were supplied with the A-code 4v motor as t with most being fitted with a manual 4-speed gearbox. Whilst this is not a GT it is a car with the underpinnings of a Mustang GT along with many of the Factory styling features.

Recently updated with a new Edelbrock 4V carburettor and 3” Hooker long tube Headers and a big bore dual Flowmaster exhaust. MSD electronic ignition and new shocks and springs all round. New seat covers, headlining and carpets fitted.

Will be supplied workshop checked and serviced and with a new 12 months MOT. Original Mustang Handbook and 2 sets of keys.

The 67 model year cars were some of the best looking cars produced by Ford and this great sounding Mustang in its perfect paint and trim combination is a fine example of just that.

Our showroom in Swainby North Yorkshire, DL6 3EL is nestled against the Cleveland Hills and located within the beautiful North York Moors National Park, a perfect place to drive to and collect your car. We are easy to find and just 5 minutes drive from the A19 and 25 minutes from the A1M. The Kings Cross/Edinburgh main-line runs through Northallerton just 15 miles away. We also offer a in-house transported delivery service to have your car brought direct to your door.

When looking to buy a classic car whether to add to your collection or if in particular you are dipping your toe into classic ownership for the first time, we always encourage our customers to view our cars in person. That way you can touch and feel what its like to be behind the wheel when we take it for a test drive and answer any questions you will no doubt have about classic car ownership.
In addition, we always welcome any independent inspection you may wish to have carried out.
You can sit down with a mug of Yorkshire tea or coffee! In our specialist showroom based in the North York Moors National Park and look through the often-large history files many of our cars come with.
