Due to an organic growth over the past 3 years, we are now looking for an engineer to join our team near the M4 corridor that will be working on safety cabinets and air purification units. We offer an independent, varied job with a strong supportive close-knit team in the background. After an extensive training phase at our headquarters in Gründau, Germany, you will join the field service team coordinated by our Derby based Service Department. The role will be based on down the M4 corridor. A high degree of willingness to travel will be required at times when the support is needed.
Your tasks:
- Maintenance and legally compliant safety checks (both mechanical and electrical)
- Fault diagnosis and repairs on a variety of equipment ranging from safety cabinets and air purification units
- Commissioning of new equipment whilst also fitting and removal of components
- Delivery, installation and dismantling of exhibition equipment
- Above-average performance-related compensation
- Coaching customers on the basic needs of the equipment to support the ongoing maintenance
- Extensive training phase with the option to go to Germany for OEM training
What we are looking for:
A competent hands on service engineer with a can do attitude, and the ability to problem-solve efficiently.
- Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
- Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to maintain and achieve service targets and deadlines.
- A professional team player, possessing excellent communication skills.
- Able to understand technical contexts without difficulty.
- Will represent our organisation and our very high standards of quality and customer service by confident, polite and competent appearance.
