I am working with a large national, Tier 1 Contractor who have a new opening for a Managing Quantity Surveyor for their Glasgow office.

This is to work on a large Power and Civil Engineering framework where you will be responsible for leading a team of Quantity Surveyors to deliver on all Commercial aspects of multiple projects.

Responsibilities include:

Responsibility for all sub-contractor management on Framework

*

Ensure all sub-contractors and suppliers have submitted compliant quotations/enquiries/applications within the timescale required

*

Produce all documentation to select and secure services as well as monthly assessments, variations/CE claims and final account agreements

*

Manage the performance and development of the Quantity Surveyors to ensure key contract objectives are documented and delivered.

*

Support the Commercial Manager in identifying areas for improvement, leading on initiatives as appropriate.

Requirements:

* Qualified Quantity Surveyor or relevant discipline

* Minimum 8 years of experience

* Previous experience within Civil Engineering and/or Power Generation very beneficial

* Experience of managing a small team

Benefits:

* Salary of between £60,000 and £65,000 DOE

* Car or Car Allowance
