With over 40 years of experience designing and manufacturing intruder detection systems, our client seeks to recruit a Senior Digital Electronics & Embedded Software Engineer for their strategic engineering talent programme.
The Job
As Senior Electronics & Embedded Software Engineer, you will lead new design and development projects for products used in noisy environments with sensor monitoring. With line management for a junior engineer, you will have the opportunity to progress to director level.
About You
The successful engineer should have a good mix of the following skills and experience in design and development;
* Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar
* Full product development lifecycle/ Design for manufacture and test
* Digital and mixed-signal circuits, Embedded C programming, Altium, FPGA, GAL, & PAL, microprocessor, combinational and sequential logic, & interface devices
* Knowledge of high and low level programming languages, Java
* Networking, Ethernet, RS232/485, Modbus etc.
* Schematic Capture, PCB layout, SMT and through-hole
* Harsh environments, EMC and LVD approvals process
