IMMEDIATE START
We have 4 x new exciting positions as Fixed Plant Maintenance Fitters just opened up in Glensanda. This role is working Monday - Friday. Lasting over a minimum of 3 months. To get to the site the transport would be via ferry at 6:30 to site, 16:45 from site, this can be negotiated to an extent. There is accommodation on site as well as meals provided.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned maintenance and repairs to the site equipment
* Contribute to the preparation and development of Safe Systems of Work for repair procedures
* Respond to unplanned repairs and other requirements
* Respond to plant breakdowns ensuring it is returned to production in a timely manner, and temporary fixes are followed up with a permanent solution.
* Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping keeping areas clean, tidy and hazard free
* Deal with all daily issues professionally and liaise with site management on a regular basis
* Support and train operatives to complete minor maintenance tasks
* To carry out all inspections; complete the forms and where a problem exists notify line management immediately
* Enter maintenance and work data on the site Computerised Maintenance Management System
* Be responsible for the plant assets in your area of responsibility and as required in all other work areas.
* To react promptly and effectively to site breakdowns by liaising with operatives and assisting where needed.
* To monitor and ensure that all plant stoppages, breakdowns, and logs are documented correctly.
* Complete and adhere to all Safety related documentation for all maintenance activities.
* To carry out other reasonable tasks within the scope of your operation and abilities as and when required.
* Strong communication with and support the site team.
* Support the site reliability program for planned change out of equipment and recording of CM data
* Use maintenance access equipment and lifting equipment
The Ideal Candidate
* A highly motivated individual with drive and enthusiasm
* Ability to work as part of a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation as required and be flexible
* Excellent communication and team working skills
* Ability to plan and implement maintenance schedules and good working knowledge of engineering drawings.
* Good understanding of health and safety
* Good organizing skills
Working Pattern
* 10 hour days Monday to Friday, with staying on site from Monday to Friday
* D&A test on day 1
* Picked up by a boat at 8am from Glensanda quarry. Dropped back on Friday 4:45pm
* 2 x 30 minute unpaid breaks
* Free breakfast, lunch and dinner
* Room sharing but if less people one week you can have your own room
* PPE provided
