Primary Teacher - Year 5 (part time opportunity)

Academics are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a Stoke primary school on a long-term supply basis. This position requires commitment for two days per week, following a three-week full-time cover period. The successful candidate will undertake full class teacher responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Year 5 curriculum.
Provide effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
Assess students progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students progress and well-being.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school activities as required.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 5.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and promote positive behaviour.
Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Flexibility to adapt teaching approaches based on students needs and abilities.
