anzuk Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a school based in Blaenau Gwent. This is a temporary long-term opportunity with an immediate start which could become permanent for the right candidate.

About the School:
The school works with Children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and students with communication and interaction difficulties associated with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the role:
You will be working 1:1 with a year 5 boy who has ASD. A Male is preferred for this role, to better suit the child's needs, as he has shown to respond better to Males, although all applications will be considered.

Requirements:
To apply and commence working with us you must meet the below criteria:

An Enhanced working with children DBS or the ability to apply for one through us.
An up-to-date CV showing paid employment covering the last two years
Be based within Blaenau Gwent, or within commutable areas, and able to provide a police check from countries you have lived in within the last 5 years outside of the UK for 6 months or more
Experience with ASD - Professional or Personal Salary:
£80-90 a day starting as a TA with possibility of expansion for the right experience level.
