For sale is my much-loved Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon with the desired 2.0 JTDM 170 bhp engine and manual gearbox. I have owned the car for 18 months and now back at uni am no longer using it enough to make it worth keeping. Definitely one of the best examples with this millage as most are starting to look pretty rough round the edges. This is not immaculate, and I have shown the worst bits in the photos, so you know what you are in for when you come to view. This is a Lusso spec which comes with several options as detailed above. The car has had lots and lots of money spent on it over the years and has a folder full of receipts and history to go with it dating back to when it was new. This includes the aftermarket fitting of the tow bar which I or the previous owner have not used for towing (believed to be for a small caravan so nothing strenuous). Everything on the car works as expected no issues I am aware of. In terms of common issues, the front subframe is in good condition all solid no flaking rust. The car drives amazingly and is quite powerful even when loaded up. I have taken her around the country even up to north Scotland doing lots of long distance miles and hardly ever driven less than half an hour in my ownership. Would make an excellent family car or just for someone who needs lots of space.

I have spent my time fighting the emissions which I believe may have been covered up by the previous seller. I have had a new DPF fitted a year ago as well as exhaust temperature sensor and most recently has been to a diesel injection specialist (after several garages didn’t know what to look at) who have given it the once over and intake clean in order to get it back to its former self so am confident it is all sorted now.

The private plate (OIB 225) is not for sale the original plates are seen in the boot (BT10 YHC) likely to go back to that or similar when the car is sold.
