CNC Programmer (Miller) - £31,000 - £34,000 - Tamworth

A forward thinking and exciting company in Tamworth, who operate within the Aerospace, Automotive and Defense industries. With major contracts and huge projects ongoing. They are an Automation solutions provider, who manufacture various machined parts for industry.

The role
A CNC Programmer (Miller) is now required to join the team, working hours Day shift 7.45pm-4.15pm (Monday-Thursday) 7.45am-3.15pm (Friday), with overtime available paid at time and a half.

You will take responsibility for:

One offs and small to medium batch production.
Machining a range of materials including Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel etc.
Working with full autonomy, taking responsibility for own work and programming from scratch
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful CNC Programmer (Miller) to have the following:

Strong proficiency in using Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
Experience of CNC Milling 3,4 or 5 axis is essential.
