We are recruiting a Technical Officer for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield.
You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years.
Key Responsibilities of the Technical Officer:
Creating small working groups to discuss current best practice for local business processes and ensuring appropriate documentation is in place to communicate key activity requirements.
Support the development of the technical training team to delivery courses and self-learning material in a structured environment.
Appropriate documents guiding process key activities.
Technical course program in line with business capability requirements.
Technical training material for structured learning to improve individual capability.
Organisation and supported delivery of the skills academy.
Qualifications & Experience for the Technical Officer:
Thrives in a process led environment.
Strong organisational skills
Able to lead open discussions within small groups.
Presentation skills including public speaking.
Situational leadership skills to identify best action plan for scenarios.
May have some previous experience of training and delivering training.
Can identify key points from a discussion and articulate them simply in a summary document.
Can use all Microsoft O365 applications to a high standard.
Is familiar with SharePoint management.
Is comfortable with face-to-face conversations being their priority form of communication.
Hours & Pay for the Technical Officer:
Monday to Friday
39 hours per week
