- £39,440 Location: City of London Police Buildings Vetting level required: MV/SC Next Generation National Fraud and Cyber Crime Reporting Service Programme The City of London Police is the designated National Lead Force for fraud and cyber-crime and is responsible for Action Fraud and the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau.
The City of London Polices mission is to protect the public by preventing and disrupting fraud and cyber-crime through capable, coordinated and effective policing.
The City of London Police is responsible for: Setting the National Fraud policing strategy and leading and coordinating the police response to fraud Co-ordinating national fraud reporting, including through Action Fraud National triaging and allocation of fraud cases and intelligence Investigation of nationally significant, serious and complex fraud Leadership and coordination of victim care Workforce development, including training, continuous professional development and dissemination of good practice across police forces Collation, interpretation and reporting of national fraud policing performance A very exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the team of highly motivated individuals who will be responsible for procuring and delivering the new system for Action Fraud and the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB), in addition, two of the roles, contract manager and technical specialist will also be involved in the current AF and NFIB project for the existing system and transfer across to the next generation service once appropriate to do so.
The Next Generation Service The City of London has been authorised to lead the project to deliver a next generation service for fraud and cyber-crime reporting and analysis.
The purpose of the procurement will be to deliver a new design to improve the flow of intelligence, information and crime reports through the ecosystem.
It will improve services to the public, usability by all agencies, and speed and quality of information.
The procurement will be guided by architectural principles to provide flexible, open, future proofed solutions, using proven technology and processes.

Youll manage an agreed number of Projects and/or Programmes involving IT Division services or resources, including major and corporatewide IT projects, in accordance with the agreed Project Management Framework, and to deliver the agreed outcomes within the stated time, quality and cost.
