An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work for a large healthcare organisation who is looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager Heating, LTHW, Steam Bias.
Assist with the management of the capital projects department, ensuring compliance and management systems are followed and compliance levels are maintained and improved.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop the project team, both in-house and specialist contractors, to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard possible;
Oversee projects to ensure that they are delivered to the highest standards and are completed on time;
Provide efficient reports on work progress as required;
Liaise with statutory authorities to ensure legal compliance;
Manage budgets, warranties and commercial agreements with suppliers and contractors.
A successful candidate will have:
Experience working within a facilities environment and within the NHS;
Knowledge of LTHW, Heating & Steam systems;
Engineering qualifications either to a C&G or HNC level;
Extensive knowledge and experience of building services and building construction;
Able to manage commercial arrangements with suppliers and contractors;
Forward thinking with ability to anticipate problems.
