Talent Acquisition Analyst
Our client a global law firm who serve the world's most innovative people and businesses, are seeking a Talent Acquisition Analyst to join their growing team in their Liverpool office. This would be a full-time permanent position, offering a Hybrid working structure working 3 days a week in the office and 2 days from home, with a salary of around £25,000.
As a Talent team they are proactive, collaborative, and enthusiastic, acting as trusted advisors focused on their clients and helping the business succeed. They are focused on recruiting, retaining, and developing the best talent in the market. Their Talent Acquisition team is responsible for all firm resourcing requirements in the UK, Ireland, and Middle East - covering partner, fee earner, business services, paralegal and early talent.
What will you be doing?
In this pivotal role you will manage, analyse, and enhance the suite of Talent Acquisition data, reports, and insights. Your insights will not only optimise the recruitment processes and inform and shape the future hiring strategies, but also support the DE&I commitments and foster a data-driven culture within our Talent Acquisition team.
You will also partner with the team aligning on insights and data needs, adopting a tailored approach for concise and insightful delivery. This role extends its analytical support to the broader Talent team when necessary; hence, flexibility in your approach and the ability to work with various stakeholder groups is crucial.
In addition, you will support the team in driving forward our direct sourcing approach, scouting for high calibre, diverse talent utilising a range of different sourcing methods with the aim of bringing the best talent into our business.
Key responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage end to end recruitment reporting and analytic, tracking key metrics, and producing regular dashboards and insights to assess overall Talent Acquisition performance.
Analyse data to identify key trends, areas for improvements and insights for decision making.
Proficiently utilise their ATS (SAP success factors) to create and enhance our reporting capability, ensuring all data is managed in a compliant and confidential manner.
To be responsible for the delivery of ED&I reporting requiring advanced excel knowledge. Highlighting key trends and insights to shape both hiring approaches and support external certifications.
Support with ad-hoc reporting requests within Talent Acquisition and across the wider TA team when required.
Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends to inform sourcing approaches and identify passive candidate groups aligned to our requirements.
Proactively identify prospective candidates through direct sourcing techniques building a strong network and pipeline of passive and active talent aligned to our requirements. This will include LinkedIn, specialised legal specific mapping platforms, complex internet searches (Boolean searches), diversity resources and competitor research.
You will have a proactive and innovative approach, constantly reviewing and evolving your sourcing approach utilising the available technology to ensure we are engaging and attracting top talent to meet business requirements.
You will identify opportunities for efficiency within the reporting and recruitment process through utilising technologies such as AI and Power BI.
What skills will you have?
You will have experience working in an analytical/reporting role within a recruitment/TA function with a clear understanding of key recruitment and diversity metrics. You will be proficient in excel including advanced functions such as: Pivot-Tables, VLOOOKUP, and data manipulation techniques. You will have strong experience interpreting and analysing recruitment and/or HR data, extracting meaningful insights and presenting in a visually compelling format via PowerPoint. Have experience utilising an ATS system (ideally SAP success factors) to build and maintain reports. Have a demonstrated passion for sourcing talent, with hands on experience using sourcing techniques/tools (e.g. LinkedIn, Boolean search). Have the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment, you are organised and can manage competing priorities with a delivery focused approach balanced with high level of attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the proven ability of establishing effective working relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders. You will be tenacious and resilient, using your initiative to overcome obstacles and problem solving.
