Teaching Personnel have been given the opportunity to find a spectacular Science Teacher to join the high attaining Science department within the large, fantastic large school in central Bristol for after Easter onwards.

We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of science who, under the guidance of the Head of Science, will teach across KS3 KS5. As a teacher at this school, you will be responsible for ensuring that every student enjoys an excellent experience in your lessons and will work closely with the rest of the team in planning and delivering interesting and engaging sequences of lessons.
If you are a dedicated teacher who can contribute to the development of schemes of learning, we would love to hear from you. The ability to teach science at Key Stages 3 to 4 is essential and your specialism at A Level desirable.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality science lessons to students of all abilities
Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
Creating a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and resources
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve the science curriculum
Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance
The successful candidate could have the following:
An enhanced child only DBS
A relevant science degree in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE
Experience delivering the science curriculum or employed within the science sector
Confidence to teach in front of class of students
Enthusiasm for science!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
