Responsibilities:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

* Delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

* Managing the classroom and ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.

* Supporting students with their learning, providing assistance as needed.

* Following the school's behavior management policies.

* Collaborating with teaching staff to maintain continuity in students' education.

* Reporting back on student progress and behavior to the appropriate faculty members.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

* An Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/education qualifications.

* Previous experience working within a secondary school environment.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Flexibility and adaptability to different subjects and year groups.

Position Details:

* Position: Cover Supervisor

* Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

* Salary: Based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
