Job Title: Accounts / Office Manager

Job Type: Part-Time (30 hours per week)
Salary: £37,500 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent)
Company Overview:
We are a dynamic and growing company based in Nottingham, seeking a dedicated and versatile Accounts / Office Manager. Our team consists of 15 enthusiastic individuals, and we require an all-rounder who can manage monthly and year-end accounts while ensuring the smooth daily operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations: Oversee daily office management, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
Account Management: Manage and post entries to accounts daily, resolve queries, and maintain customer accounts.
Financial Reporting: Produce and analyze management accounts monthly. Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow calculations daily.
Debt Management: Responsible for chasing debtors and ensuring timely payments.
Supplier & Payroll Management: Manage the payment of supplier invoices and oversee monthly payroll and PAYE processes.
HR and VAT: Address HR-related issues and manage VAT submissions quarterly.
Communication: Handle daily emails and resolve any arising queries.
Specific Duties:
Bank Reporting: Daily reporting to the bank using HSBC Net and reconciliation of ledgers.
Spreadsheet Management: Extensive use of Excel spreadsheets for various financial tasks, requiring manual data input.
Month-End Tasks: Involvement in closing sales ledgers, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Mid-Month Reporting: Complete management accounts, including Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, Accruals, and Journals.
VAT Processing: Quarterly VAT processing, requiring half a days commitment.
Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in accounts and office management, particularly in a similar role.
Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with manual data entry processes.
Qualities: Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with multitasking in a dynamic environment.
Education: Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or business management are preferred.
