Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about shaping young minds and making a positive impact in education? anzuk is seeking vibrant Teaching Assistants to become part of our dedicated team of educators for a rewarding full-time role at a Secondary school in Taunton.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic and social support to students, fostering independence and motivation in their learning journey.
Assist in general school duties, including preparing resources, organizing learning spaces, and supervising break and lunchtimes.
Offer support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) like Social, Emotional & Mental Health, Autism, and Speech and Language Communication Needs.
Collaborate with the SENCO and/or Class teacher to monitor and report on children's progress. As a Teaching Assistant you will need to:

Be versatile individuals dedicated to making a difference in students' lives.
Have experience in working within a classroom environment with Special Educational Needs.
Have the ability to employ diverse engagement methods tailored to students' varying needs and abilities.
Work with other members of staff to promote inclusion across the school Desirable Qualities in Educators:

Approachable, personable, and relatable individuals adept at engaging students in the learning process.
Team players fostering a positive and inclusive community for all students.
Proficient in behaviour management to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Strong time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Reliability and consistency in supporting students' educational journeys. Please note you will be required to complete a full registration with anzuk for this role.
