ased at our client site in Dewsbury, we are looking for an experienced sewing machinist to carry out all aspects of industrial sewing in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The key responsibility of a sewing machinist is to make sewn pieces for the clients product portfolio which meets specifications and quality criteria with particular emphasis on maintaining quality standards whilst working at the required efficiency rate and meeting targets and deadlines.

The successful candidate should have experience of using a flatbed sewing machine and an overlocking machine, ideally gained in a fast-paced, high volume production setting within the furniture industry.

You will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently without close supervision, going above & beyond in a flexible, dynamic setting.

* Quality driven and a fine eye for detail

* Punctual & reliable

* Flexible in all aspects of work to include pieces and fabric

* Previous experience as an industrial sewing machinist (min 2 years)

Processes include:

* Sewing (machines) Including re-thread

* Overlocker Including re-thread

* Twin Needler Including re-thread

Person requirements

You must be able to follow standard production operating processes to ensure that all work meets our high level of quality standards, taking pride in the work produced.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, this is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. The working hours are Monday Thursday, 7am 4pm & Friday, 7am 1pm
