Our client is a leading provider of fire protection solutions committed to safeguarding lives and property. With a reputation for excellence and innovation, we specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining cutting-edge fire sprinkler systems for a diverse range of clients.
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Sprinkler Service Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and inspection of fire sprinkler systems. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our clients' fire protection systems.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local regulations.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with sprinkler systems, including valves, piping, pumps, and control systems.
* Perform repairs and replacements of damaged or malfunctioning components to ensure system integrity and reliability.
* Coordinate with clients to schedule service visits and communicate effectively regarding service requirements and recommendations.
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including inspection reports, work orders, and equipment inventory.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a focus on sprinkler system maintenance and service.
* Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications related to fire sprinkler systems.
* Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, including NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and NFPA 72.
* Experience working with various types of sprinkler systems, including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to effectively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
