KPJ Group are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join chemical distribution company at their site based in Glossop.
The candidate we are looking for will possess prior experience operating as a mechanical fitter and will have served time as an apprentice.
Whats on offer?
* £36,200 per year
* Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
* Overtime available 1.5x
* Annual pay increases

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?
* Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
* Assembling and disassembling mechanical components and machinery
* Installing mechanical equipment, such as pumps, motors, and valves
* Aligning and adjusting mechanical components to ensure proper operation
* Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery
* Troubleshooting mechanical problems and providing solutions
* Fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical components
* Operating hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, and saws
* Performing regular maintenance on mechanical equipment
* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
What do you need?
* Experience operating as a mechanical fitter
* Trained as an apprentice
* Chemical experience (desirable)
