Structural Engineer (steel framed buildings/structures). East Midlands. Hybrid/Remote working available. Applications invited from Intermediate to Senior level Engineers.

A truly excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with experience working on steel framed building projects (portals and/or beam and stick) to join a highly successful engineering business who undertake design and build projects across different sectors ranging from industrial to commercial to education and healthcare.

The successful Structural Engineer will join the existing Engineering team and work on projects individually and collaboratively. Largely remote working is available (1 office visit every couple of weeks) is available plus you will also enjoy an excellent starting salary that is negotiable DOE together with good package and benefits and a friendly and supportive working environment.

Structural Engineer duties include:

* Design of structural sections/frames and associated connections where required.

* Providing technical/design advice to internal drawing office as required.

* Raising RFI/TQs as required.

Structural Engineer requirements:

* Hold a professional Engineering qualification.

* Proven experience working as a Structural Engineer, ideally on steel framed building projects.

* Design and build project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

* Experience working with design software such as masterseries, CSC/Trimble Building Designer or similar is advantageous.

* Good communication skills
