The job:
Responsible for manufacturing components on the production schedule to the drawing specifications within set timescales. Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn, acquire relevant machining experience and work from technical drawings.
Ensuring production priorities and timescales are achieved to ensure customers deadlines are met. Solve problems as they arise.
Manufacturing components to support machine build at the Rochdale site.
Skills /experience
CNC Machining Horizontal Borers / Machining Centres
Ability to write CNC programs, identify and solve problems - Heidenhain
Must be able to work to a high level of quality
Must have good attendance record and excellent time-keeping
Able to read engineering drawings
Able to work in safe manner in line with the companys Health & Safety policies
Personal Attributes:
Computer competences: desirable Microsoft Office, Word/Excel/Outlook (email)
Able to work on own initiative and to prioritise tasks on daily basis
Comfortable in working within a team and independently managing their own time
Exemplary housekeeping standards
Well organized and with attention to detail
Able to work under pressure, flexible to needs of the business and be self-motivated.
Problem solving skills
Educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Skilled Status, timed served)
Rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
