* Take ownership for leading site activity and actively work towards delivering agreed project quality and completion by the target date
* Assist in the preparation of project plans, budgets and timelines
* Interact with site staff, subcontractors and local authorities as required
* Plan, manage and monitor all day-to-day site activity
* Provide technical guidance and advice as well as identify and report any areas requiring improvement
* Oversee Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring all staff are following the guidelines
* Monitor progress and develop timely solutions to ensure deadlines are met The right candidate will need to have over 5 years of experience as an assistant site manager, ideally within housing projects. They will also need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of construction methods, health & safety regulations and quality control
