C++ Software Engineer Portsmouth, Hampshire Permanent up to £50,000 per annum

This role is for a high tech organisation who design and manufacture niche electric maritime products primarily used in the defence industry.

Youll be part of a great team of Engineers who pride themselves on innovation and enjoy working at the forefront of technology.

Working as part of a multidiscipline R&D Team, you will be responsible for software design, development, implementation and testing.

Youll be part of a small highly skilled software team who focus on C++ development as their core language and work to a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practice.

Candidates from a computer science background will be considered but candidates from an Electronics/Mechatronics/Embedded background would also be highly suitable to this environment. Particularly people with knowledge of closed loop control systems or robotic applications and operating systems (ROS).
