Your future employer is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team, primarily working on bakery equipment. The ideal candidate will be someone who is self motivated and pro-active, and has strong electrical engineering experience. They are offering a company vehicle, a company pension scheme and 31 days holidays. Given the nature of this position, we are offering a strong salary of £26k-£28k per annum for the ideal candidate, plus an additional £4k in overtime, as a minimum. Everything is paid door to door and there is unlimited overtime available, which pays a higher rate at time and a half, and double time. There is excellent training in place to develop across the companies range of equipment, which all come with generous pay rises once fully trained.

The successful candidate will be covering the Reading area, so will need to be located within the area. Excellent training and support is provided, along with the opportunity to progress to work on the other areas this company offers.

The expected duties and ideal experience for the successful engineer are as follows:
* Responding to machine failures within the agreed SLA
* Working across the customers line of bakery equipment
* Training staff on sites showing the operational features of the equipment once it is installed
* Liaising with the service desk to ensure calls are completed
* Working towards a first-time-fix
* Providing cover to other areas as required (due to holidays, sick days, etc.)

Skills and experience required:
* Minimum of 1 years experience of electro-mechanical or electrical engineering
* Strong understanding of electrical engineering
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Excellent problem solving skills

A vehicle, fuel card, all tools, a tablet and phone will be provided for the position. The role will be Monday to Friday, and includes covering 1 in 4 weekends. Previous experience as a field service engineer in the bakery industry is desired for the position.
