As a Process Cooling Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of process cooling systems in various industrial settings.

To thrive in this role, you need:

* A formal engineering qualification.

* A current driving licence without disqualification and a UK/EU Passport.

* Previous administration, organisational, and multi-tasking skills.

* Health & Safety qualification or experience.

* Excellent ICT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with an ability to adapt to bespoke in-house systems.

You should have a proven track record:

* Minimum of 3 years as a Process Cooling Service Engineer, specialising in breakdowns, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of process cooling systems.

* Proficiency in on-site breakdowns, commissioning, and maintenance of process cooling systems in accordance with design specifications and industry standards.

* Strong knowledge of process cooling systems, including refrigeration principles, electrical and mechanical components, and control systems.

* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot process cooling issues using appropriate tools and techniques.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Thorough understanding of pump data plates, valves, heat exchangers, free coolers, adiabatic coolers, and associated controls.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

* Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting skills.

* Willingness to travel extensively and work in various industrial settings.

* Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in field service operations.

Job Summary:

As a Process Cooling Service Engineer, your main purpose is to provide maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and commissioning services for process cooling systems. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will contribute to the efficient and reliable operation of cooling equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of existing cooling equipment.

* Troubleshoot complex issues related to process cooling systems.

* Repair or replace faulty equipment to restore optimal functionality.

* Perform commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with standards.

* Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide technical support.

* Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure peak performance.

* Maintain accurate records of all service activities.

* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.

* Train and mentor other technicians on maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.

* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
