Due to the ongoing commitment of sustained growth a continued dedication to remain at the forefront of the industry, our client now wishes to strengthen their business with the appointment of a Senior Surveyor to support the management team.

The Role

* Deliver asset, building, land and property advice and services to and on behalf of clients.

* Deliver a range of tasks and schemes to a high standard, using initiative and a proactive approach to ensure client deadlines and objectives are met, and taking pride and ownership in the quality of work delivered.

* Develop strong working relationships with client personnel, and internal and external stakeholders and teams, including contractors, consultants, landowners, and occupiers, whilst holding professional conversations, managing expectations and discussing feedback to improve the level of service provided.

* Support the development of junior members of staff when required and, if applicable, take line management responsibility and provide constructive leadership to direct reports, engaging in regular progress review and feedback meetings and delegating tasks effectively

* Share experiences to support the development of people in the wider organisation whilst maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills through specialist CPD

* Participate in and support company groups, initiatives, events, and social activities, whilst embracing company values, and engendering a positive attitude within the workplace

The Person

* A proven track record of experience in a similar role, and holding either MRICS or AssocRICS

* Be experienced in leading a team or projects

* Have a full UK driving licence

* Be a positive team player with a can-do attitude

* A natural problem solver

* Enjoy delivering results within a team environment
