Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Section Enfgineer - Crosspassages to join our team to work across our Tunnelling team at our Long Itchington Wood site, focusing on SCL and Crosspassages.
What you'll be doing:
* Prepare / review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Inspection and Test Plans.
* Overseeing the Spray Concrete Lining (SCL) and Reinforced Concrete (RC) and Crosspassages.
* Managing the Crosspasssage excavation.
* Manage team of SCL Engineers and Site engineers.
* Supervise works to ensure it is carried out safely .
* Manage the monitoring of shotcrete lining thickness through inspection of post shift as-builts / visiting the works regularly throughout the shift.
* Maintain high personal safety and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and report any standards on the site which are considered by you as inadequate.
Who we're looking for:
* Be degree qualified or have relevant professional experience in either Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or, similar) and have, or be studying towards a professional qualification such as MICE/FGS
* Hold a valid CSCS card.
* Have experience working on Crosspassages and SCL.
