The Rolls-Royce SMR Test Programme is responsible for delivering a suite of test rigs to validate fluid models for designing the Rolls-Royce SMR power station. Working under the technical supervision of a Design Lead, the Test Rig Design Engineer will contribute to the development of thermal-hydraulic or mechanical test rigs within budget and timeline. We welcome applications from various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, chemical, and EC&I, as long as candidates can showcase their ability to apply their skills to fluid system designs.

Professional recognition through an appropriate professional body or working towards it.
Note: Previous experience with test rigs or nuclear systems is desirable but not necessary for this role.
Pay and Benefits:
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a performance-related bonus of up to 12.5%, an attractive pension scheme (12% employer, 6% employee contributions), and a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a tailored package to suit your needs.
