Reed Engineering is excited to announce that they are working with a nationwide electrical group who are fast growing in the power sector. The business is well known for supplying energy to famous events and landmarks around the UK. They are recruiting for a Senior Authorised Person on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Senior Authorised Person, you will be responsible for the safety of yourself and others in HV areas.

As the business is expanding, they seek reliable, highly skilled candidates of a high calibre to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Production of switching schedules and carrying out switching on a large variety of private HV networks
Switching, testing, commissioning fault diagnosis and maintaining of high and low voltage networks up to a minimum of 11kV (experience of networks up to 33kV desirable)
Preparation and briefing of risk assessments and method statements for installation and maintenance tasks
Familiarity with a variety of HV switchgear, transformers and associated cabling systemsSkills and experience include:

Electricity at Work Regulations, High Voltage Distribution Safety Rules
CDM Regulations and general health and safety legislation is required
ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical EngineeringBenefits include:
