Reed Engineering is excited to announce that they are working with a nationwide electrical group who are fast growing in the power sector. The business is well known for supplying energy to famous events and landmarks around the UK. They are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will review all new contracts and liaise with Clients to fully understand the cost implications associated with projects.

As the business is expanding, they seek reliable, highly skilled candidates of a high calibre to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor all income/expenditure associated with projects (including all staff costs; all sub-contractor costs and material and equipment costs) and forecast future spend profiles.
Manage the change control process in respect of commercial activity associated with projects.
Liaise with the Finance Department to raise invoices and monitor Client payments.
Review all final accounts associated with projects and issue final account statements to Clients.Skills and experience include:

An excellent eye for detail and a high level of data entry ability. Show confidence to check if something needs an amendment.
Experience of working within a construction or engineering environment.
