D33P search are currently supporting an exciting business based in the midlands who are looking for a Power Electronics to support the team with on going projects.

They have worked across numerous industries including Aerospace, medical and Automotive. There current projects are focused around Automotive, experience within this sector would be advantageous but not essential.

You'll be joining a business who puts staff first and offers unlimited leave, they have been trading for a number of years and own the IP on numerous products however would still say their business has the feel of a high paced start up.

Responsibilities

To fulfil the role you will:

· Conduct simulation for power electronics devices and understand the limitations of such simulations

· Create electronic schematics for power electronics components (SMPS, DC-DC,

On Board Chargers, Motor Inverters etc.)

· Support PCB layout

· Write and interpret specifications and requirements

· Ensure adherence to requirements documentation

· Work to project plans

· Support product documentation (e.g., design notes, bills of materials, user manuals)

· Learn and understand the implications of ISO26262

· Be capable of the highest quality of communication to the Project Management team, the Engineering Manager, and customers

· Be comfortable working directly with customers including, from time to time, on site at their premises, or in the field

· Demonstrate a self-motivated approach to problem solving
