Our client is a leading global supplier of ingredients and premix manufacturing solutions to the Food & Beverage industries. Based in Kent, they are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to work a 6am-6pm, 4 on/4 off shift. The Key Responsibilities will be:

* Maintain a high level of tidiness in the WH area and WH Yard and to remove any hazards or obstructions according to procedure

* Complete daily requirements including - Daily dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods prep, production picking.

* Assist with production daily requirements.

* Complete any preparation of bulk and part goods for production.

* Follow instructions as requested by the WH Supervisor & Team Leader.

* Ensure daily FLT checks are complete and documented and report any defects to WH supervisor immediately.

* Ensure all other Warehouse checks are completed as per rota.

* Arrange for any production waste to be disposed of.

* Assist with the requirements of the sampling room

* Liaise with Customer Support and outside transport providers to ensure the smooth dispatch of customers orders

* Any other reasonable task as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader and Production Manager

* Working safely and follow all safety requirements

The successful candidate must have a Reach Truck and Counterbalance licence and have the ability to learn and operate an in-house computer system and have relevant Warehouse environment experience. Good written and spoken English and a high level of communication skills. You will need to be reliable, hard-working and have a high level of attention to detail
