We require live-in support for an elderly lady with a diagnosis of mixed dementia, as well as diet-controlled diabetes, and very poor eye-sight. The post is about 'being there', and keeping her feeling safe in a happy, clean environment, with well-balanced meals, and some company. She prefers to keep to her bed for the most part, and does not want high levels of activity or stimulation, but she does appreciate good cooking! Her home is situated in a pleasant area of Crewe. A spacious bedroom is provided for the carer, as well as all meals, internet access, and parking if required.
We, her family, do live locally, and will provide a full induction and on-going support, and also would be available for any emergency situations.
Working patterns by negotiation. Job sharing for local employees is a possibility.
