Home Manager required for Ofsted registered children's home Bournemouth Hampshire £38k plus bonus

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager to take the next step of becoming a Registered Manager

You will support our Registered Manager oversee either a 2 bed home or 3 bed home supporting 8-18 year olds with LD ADHD and complex needs.

Home Manager Role

*

You will work under the guidance of the Registered Manager to support and supervise a team of Deputy Manager ,Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers to provide quality care to looked after children.

*

You will be able to lead, motivate and enhance the skills of your team and be able to model professionalism and leadership skills.

*

The young people display complex learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, and need guidance to develop their independence skills and ability to integrate in to society.

*

You will be confident and able to step in to the managers shoes in their absence.

Home Manager Requirements

*

Diploma/ NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (or equivalent qualification) or above

*

Senior experience of leading and developing others

*

Excellent knowledge of requirements of role and ability to lead others

*

Evidence knowledge of Reg 44 and Ofsted Inspections

*

Supported children and young people with LD and complex needs
