Our client is looking for an MET Tech to join their Southend Branch and work as part of an incredible team in one of the UK's largest bodyshop groups.

Whats On Offer

* Permanent role

* Basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000 + bonus

* 45 hour working week Monday - Friday 07:00am - 17:00pm

About the Job

As an experienced MET Tech, you will be responsible for:

* Carrying out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs

* Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop

* Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work

* Ordering replacement parts

* Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition

Qualifications/Requirements

* Current or very recent Bodyshop experience as an MET Technician of at least 1 year

* Full UK drivers license

* Be able to work in a team and independently if needed

* Achieve deadlines and targets that are set out.

* Youll need your own tools

* City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair

* ATA Qualification would be an advantage

* Previous Bodyshop MET experience is essential

* Rebuilding bodywork on damaged vehicles in a bonus bodyshop
