An exciting opportunity has developed with a national contractor working in Yorkshire for an M&E Quantity Surveyor. You will be office based initially then to site once the project is live. This role will suit an M&E Quantity Surveyor who has experience of running projects and taking a lead on projects in excess of £3-5m

You will be joining a successful and secure client who have been striving within the Mechanical and Electrical sectors for decades. As well as working in a team and reporting to the Commercial Manager and also acquiring a trainee to assist you.

You will ideally already have experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the commercial environment and a good understanding of processing invoices, cost reporting and co-ordination of sub-contractors as well as knowledge of NEC forms of contracts will be advantageous

You will be responsible for creating invoices, preparing estimates, procurement and dealing with new orders due to the success of the business. It is imperative that you have excellent IT experience and able to use spreadsheets
