We are seeking a Home Tutor with expertise in Primary years teaching.
Whether you prefer full-time or part-time hours, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic success of our student in the comfort of their own home.
I am currently seeking a patient and dedicated tutor to work with a young pupil in their home, this young person has a low school attendance record, therefore tuition at home is the preferred option moving forward.
The ideal tutor will initially build a strong relationship with the young person before incorporating learning opportunities based around the young persons specific requirements and developmental stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Build a strong relationship with your young person initially.
Provide exceptional one-on-one tutoring sessions to students, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the subject matter.
Assess and regularly monitor the progress of your students, adjusting your teaching methods to maximise their learning outcomes.
Create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to excel.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians to provide feedback on student progress and address any concerns.
Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Home Tutor, particularly at the primary level, is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge and experience working with the National Curriculum/ EYFS, with the ability to teach other subjects being a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.
The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student.
Working Hours:
The working hours for this position are flexible and can be tailored to your availability. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, we can accommodate your schedule. The role includes 1 to 2 hours of planning time, depending on the length of tutoring sessions.
