Experience of managing and developing teams in a fast paced operational environment is essential, as is a proven understanding and previous management of warehouse processes and operations. responsibility to manage a team of 30 warehouse colleagues; outbound/goods out/ from pick , developing, leading and motivating your people to achieve challenging operational KPI targets. Youll also monitor and improve your teams morale and promote our approach to employee engagement. Responsible for keeping all operational processes compliant and keeping your people safe Ensure H&S policy & standards are met Ensure that your team are made fully aware, trained, and comply with company H&S policy Manage employee development reviews and assessments to ensure that any development needs identified through the process are met Build an effective succession plan to empower the team and promote their skills within the company Create and maintain a positive team culture, encouraging involvement to improve Employee Engagement Ensure daily / weekly / period KPIs are achieved for your area Ensure resource planning is effectively carried out to optimise resource and efficiencies Ensure service to customer exceed their expectations Planning for Peak Operations and promotional activity in line with KPI`s Is this you? Experienced warehouse managers and operations team managers with strong people management skills ideally gained in a FMCG/logistics/manufacturing background Youll use your communication skills to develop strong, trusting relationships with your team, managers, suppliers and
transport companies A natural organiser, able to efficiently manage varied workloads, proactively control resource and use your initiative and planning ability to analyse and resolve any issues within your department FMCG, retail e-commerce and 3pl backgrounds are welcome.
