Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading STEM based business who are looking to recruit a Head of HR into their team.

This is a full time and permanent position and an exciting opportunity to help shape the people strategy and agenda within a growing organisation. The role reports through into the Finance Director, has a team of reports and will encompass a mix of operational and strategic HR.

Responsibilities of the Head of HR position include:

* Support and implement the people strategy and company business objectives

* Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to colleagues

* Supporting and coaching managers and senior stakeholders within the business

* Employee relations, performance and absence management and monitoring

* Training and development including responsibility for apprenticeship programmes and training budget

* Lead on business engagement and wellbeing initiatives

* Talent management and recruitment companywide to ensure headcount plans are reached and succession plans and skills gaps are addressed

* HR projects and continuous improvement

* HR administration and systems upkeep, including roll out of new modules and ways of working. Automation of process and procedures.

Were keen to speak with experienced and proactive HR professionals who looking for their next challenge within a creative, engaging and supportive environment. A CIPD qualification or relevant HR degree is advantageous. Youll have a professional and commercial approach to HR and be able to motivate, engage and influence at all levels. Stakeholder management and a proven ability to lead the HR and people agenda is key. Previous experience working in a scaling SME or a STEM environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

My client offers flexible working - A minimum of 2 days on site is essential for this position.
