We have a great opportunity If you're looking for a new role in Quantity Surveying in the Gloucestershire area.

You will be working directly with a well established family company in the area who are fast growing and looking to expand their team

Duties:
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis
- Review and evaluate project specifications and drawings
- Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate project budgets
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions
- Prepare and submit progress payment applications to clients
- Review and negotiate change orders with contractors
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
