Contek Recruitment are currently working with a client, who specialise in the design and manufacture of high-end precision engine components for the Motorsport, Automotive, and Aerospace industries.
Through growth they are looking for Production Assistants to join the team on a permanent basis.
Terms Permanent, Full Time 40 hours a week Monday to Thursday: - 07:30 16:30 Friday:- 07:30 14:00
Pay £11.44 - £12.50 (depending on experience)

Today, they specialise in the design and manufacture of high-end precision engine components for the motorsport, niche OEM automotive, automotive aftermarket and niche aero markets.
Duties / Responsibilities
Parts finishing: aqua vapour blasting, shot peening (light peening), vibro deburr/flow deburring, lapping and polishing
Pin bore and datum Honing on pistons and liners
Xylan printing and spraying
Laser part marking
Assemble engine blocks to specific instruction
Support machine cleaning activities including coolant maintenance
Maintain high levels of housekeeping Qualifications / Experience Essential
1 to 2 years experience working in a machine shop environment
Good attention to detail
Positive can-do attitude and willing to learn
Able to work independently and as part of a team Desirable
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience in the Automotive and Aerospace industry
