We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician for our client based in Long Eaton. You will be a time served Electrician, dealing with installations and breakdowns
Duties-
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine root causes of malfunctions
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures
- Inspect electrical components to identify hazards or defects
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to complete projects and tasks
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations
What we are looking for -
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role
- Proficient in electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and controls. Single Phase, 3 Phase and knowledge of PLC's
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience with hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Time served Electrician with 17th or 18th edition
