We are seeking a talented engineering specialist for our client within their Building Services Maintenance team . The role is based in Telford, is offered as a full-time, permanent position with working hours of Monday Thursday 08:15 17:00 and Friday 08:15 12:15.

The Job
You will operate as the technical/ maintenance specialist, managing maintenance activities, engineers and CMMS to provide specialist knowledge in Energy Management, IoT/ Connected systems and Building Services Equipment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing activities, reporting progress and results, providing technical support and ensuring optimum operational efficiency of buildings, infrastructure and processes across the business.
* Coordinate and control RPLs water/ energy reduction and utilities monitoring initiatives. This includes the detailed study of company processes and infrastructure, research of low carbon technologies, detailed project evaluation, planning, budget submission, investment justification and authorisation, risk assessments, scheduling and implementation of activities required to achieve CO2 reduction targets
* Take responsibility for activities and associated risks. Taking the lead also for new equipment installations, establishing and implementing performance monitoring and preventative maintenance activities as well as delivering training for all relevant persons as required
* Maintain compliance with climate change regulations and internal environmental reporting requirements and supporting the wider environmental team as required
* Manage internal and external resources to deliver mechanical and electrical installations in accordance with all relevant regulations
* To provide out of hours maintenance support as required
* Own the CMMS structure to ensure the energy related asset structure is up to date and mainteanced
* Actively contribute to company Continuous Improvement activities including the internal company system , Kaizen, applying 5S standards in all areas, and ensure all work is complaint with H&S standards and risk assessments
The Person
For this role we are seeking someone who has the following skills and attributes:
* HNC in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
* City & Guilds 2800 Level 3 or equivalent (Maintenance Engineering)
* City & Guilds 2382 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* An environmental/ energy engineering management qualification is preferred
* Demonstrable experience of working in a high performance level, high volume automated manufacturing environment
* A good knowledge of manufacturing processes and building services infrastructure
* Experience in delivery of new and replacement plant and equipment
This interesting role offers a competitive salary between £38,600 - £44,400 and also a benefits package. Such a truly brilliant opportunity to work with a global company as part of a friendly team.
