Experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager required by a well-established, reputable engineering business based in Barnsley.
This position is to cover maternity leave for 9-12 months and requires an immediate start.
The purpose of the Payroll Manager is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of the payroll, whilst also taking responsibility for payroll procedures and processing ensuring they are followed accurately to meet legislative and business requirements.
Managing a team of 5 duties will include:
* Responsible for the processing of salaries including all administration, new starters, leavers etc.
* Dealing with all queries relating to payroll.
* Processing P11D's, P60's, P45's etc.
* Processing all payroll and pension documentation.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
* Previous supervisory/managerial experience is required.
* Good analytical skills are essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
* The desire to drive continuous improvements across the department is required.
