Workshop Controller

Location: Stoke-on-Trent



Salary: £30,000 per annum - dependent on experience

Contract Type: Permanent

Igloo is looking for Workshop Controllers to join our clients team in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis! Our client is one of the UKs leading automotive companies, with operations throughout the country.

What youll be doing:

* Dealing with customers bringing their vehicle for recall, service or repair.

* Providing feedback to customers on their service or repair, including pricing of additional work when required, explaining the reasons fully and competently.

* Managing all staff within the department, communicating instructions to technicians and ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner.

What we need from you:

* A working technical understanding of vehicles in order to clearly explain repairs or additional repairs to customers.

* Customer service skills, including dealing with difficult situations and an ability to upsell our services and products where appropriate.

* Strong IT skills.

* Awareness of warranty guidelines, service intervals and other relevant information.

* Be organised, efficient and able to multi-task efficiently.

* Be flexible, energised and a team player.

* Previous experience in a similar role.
